Sue yes I”m very safe over here in West it’s the east coast of Australia thats getting cyclone Yasi.I have friends who had to evacuate but are ok .There are heeps of great aussie authors living up in area of Cairns near Barrier Reef.Katrina size 640km diametor eye 51km.Yasi 200-300km eye 36km it was quite big but has wiped out alot of place”s.Once again there is Insurance problems they wont cover these type’s of act of Nature. Why do we have Insurance? The Gov will be doing alot and the Army is there in full force. My son Gavin went through cyclone Goerge in 2007 when in was doing emergency nursing at Pt.Hedland and the hospital got flooded. He said the noise was just terrible you could hear the roar before it hit the township.(Iron Ore country Pilbra)

So glad you’re safe, Trish. My parents were in the path of a tornado once. Mom said it sounded like a train roaring over their house.
