Your Pet/LUCY!!
Lucy’s mom, Suzanne Bailey, recently celebrated Lucy’s birthday. Suzanne’s FB announcement of the “big event” featured a photo of Lucy, and I fell in love with this beautiful collie mix. I contacted Suzanne, and she was delighted to let us feature Lucy on Your Pet today!
Suzanne adopted Lucy from a shelter when Lucy was a year old. Suzanne says, “Lucy is the sweetest-natured dog I’ve ever known.”

Our sweetest rescue is named Jack too!! Jack, our Swiss Mountain mix was left in our local shelter TWICE. He picked us when he was 8 months old because he knew he would have an awesome forever home. You see, he had been kept in a basement in a cage by himself. He had some severe abandonment issues the first year or so. Now, he’s the happiest dog we’ve ever known. . .
Jack must be a good name, Patti!! I just can’t imagine a dog being kept in a cage in a basement by himself. So sad. I’m very happy for Jack that he “found” you!!

I agree, Janie. We’ve been down with influenza and associated illnesses, and our dog has been a caring and constant companion!
