Puppy Love/ Basenji!
Personally, I’ve never met a Basenji, but they are a very ancient breed of dog that traces lineage all the way back to the days of the Pharaohs in Egypt. They can be a nippy little dog so aren’t recommended for families with children unless they’ve been “child exposed” from early puppy days. A Basenji will usually become very attached to his owner. They are barkless but endowed with a fine repertoire of vocal “doggie words”.
Our schnauzer is good at imitating human speech. He taught himself to greet us with a joyous and very clear “Hello” when he wants to greet us. Have you every owned a very vocal dog?
