February 2014 2nd Free Book!

Our second February 2014 Free Book is TAKEN FOR ENGLISH, a wonderful Amish romance from Olivia Newport. It’s one of those sweet books you just don’t want to put down.

Taken for English (Valley of Choice)

From the back cover:

“Annie joined the Amish church based on prayerful conviction, not romantic dreams. And yet, she can’t deny she’d hoped to share her new, plain life with Rufus. Neither can she deny that his ways are nothing like the fast-paced culture she left behind — Rufus is obviously in no hurry… How long will Rufus test her patience?”

To have your name included in our Wednesday, February 26 drawing, just leave a comment or answer our discussion question.

Portions of this novel are set in Colorado and in Arkansas. What states, provinces, or countries have you lived in?

Blessings!

  1. Michigan, Ohio, Louisiana, Tennessee, South Carolina, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin. And when with my Dad you can add Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina, but that was during my summer and holiday time with him so don’t know if it counts. 😉

  2. Two great states, Velma. I haven’t lived in Missouri but my paternal grandfather was born there and my great-great grandfather was given a land grant there for his service in the Union forces during the Civil War. He had been a prisoner of war. The coolest thing is that my father remembers him.

  3. I have only ever lived personally in Ohio… I was born in Kentucky.. I have only traveled in my books but would love to see distance places. My daughter before she died recently had lived in Colorado for a short time and wanted us to go back there to live, but we never got the time!

  4. Southern Michigan, U.P. Michigan, Kansas, Mid-Michigan, and now Northern Michigan. Those four years in Kansas? Well… you gotta do whatcha gotta do! Thanks for the chance to win a copy of this book, it sounds like a good read.
