A Glance Back – Happy Birthday!
Last week we celebrated my dad’s 87th birthday. As we have for the past two years, we set our celebration at Cedar Cove Assisted Living where my mom now makes her home. I thought you might like to see some pictures of our time together.
My Dad is the one with the “birthday hat” on! The photo includes my mother (bottom central in the pink shirt), my sister Tish (sitting beside her) and then L to R, my niece Katelyn, brother-in-law Tom, Dad, and my husband Neil.
The family with Mary and Willis Galer, long time friends. My husband is taking the photo. We were so amazed that when we sang “Happy Birthday,” Mom mouthed the words, a lovely gift for my dad’s 87th birthday!

It is so nice to see the family and the Galers again. Happy belated birthday to your dad and good wishes to your mom. She was the first person I saw on Main St. and she gave me that beautiful smile that I will never forget.
Oh Cathie, I’m sure she saw your beautiful smile and how could she do anything less than smile back. Please hug your precious family for me. You are all so missed!
