I love to “discover” new authors. I’m currently reading two first novels by new-to-me authors.
For our April book, our Reading Group chose Guardians of Hallowed Ground, Gettysburg by Thomas J. Ball. Guardians is an account of a time-travel journey made by a group of modern soldiers to the Civil War battle of Gettysburg. Tom’s research is impeccable and his plot is well-crafted. If you love action-survival or time-travel novels, you’ll enjoy this book. You can buy Guardians of Hallowed Ground, Gettysburg at Wilderness Treasures (owned by Tom and his wife Carley) in Pickford, Michigan, or from the publisher, www.strategicpublishinggroup.com.
On my Kindle, I’m reading The Resurrection by Mike Duran. This book has a great premise. What if you touched a dead person and he came back to life? I bought my Kindle edition at Amazon.com. The Resurrection is also available in trade paperback.
Q4U: What are you currently reading? Any recommendations?
Blessings, Sue
Hi Cathy, I have Yesterday’s Tomorrow on my Kindle and ready to read as soon as I finish my reader’s group novel for a May 18th discussion. Looking forward to Yesterday’s Tomorrow and congratulations on its release!! Sue
Hi Sue!
From the sounds of it, you would probably enjoy my debut novel, Yesterday’s Tomorrow. It’s about a female journalist who goes to Vietnam to cover the war. Let me know if you pick it up!
