Books I Love/Where The Wild Things Are
Maurice Sendak is the illustrator and author of this wonderful children’s book, the 1964 winner of the Caldecott Most Distinguished Picture Book of the Year. I love the little boy Max and his fantastical journey to the land where the Wild Things are. I love how very wild Max and the Wild Things are and yet how…

The Athenee Palace Hilton of Bucharest. Wow! Motel 6 is usually more our style, but I could get used to Hilton. And, of course, fresh flowers! A large room and comfy bed: And a view of Bucharest! It seems like a touch of home to find a Gideon Bible in the bedside table. We have…

All of these sunsets (so far anyway) are taken from the front deck at our house, Patti. And yes, the Neil is my husband Neil. He’s had some outdoor photographs published in Japan, but nothing in the US, because he’s submitted nothing in the US. We were in Japan on a book tour and I showed his photographs to a magazine editor there, and they used them!
I look forward to the sky photos. You have some gorgeous sunsets! Where was this taken? Is Neil your husband?
