YOUR PET!/Bub
Today we add another Bearded Dragon to our YOUR PET! family. (See the February 15 YOUR PET with Irwin & Figaro.)
Bub’s owner Gail tells us that Bub is very happy in his aquarium under the heat lamp, but in the summer he enjoys being let out in the grass. He’s very afraid of birds, which are a natural enemy, and any small plane flying overhead also makes him nervous. Even in the house, when he hears a plane, he stiffens and goes on alert. Gail says that Bub is a very nice pet, but because he’s scaly, you can pat him only one way. I think he’s one very smart dragon!
