Mischa’s owner, Janie Chang, a novelist, tells us that, “Mischa (now age 7) and her brothers had been abandoned at a lakeside cottage. Fortunately a neighbor took in the kitties and put the word out. We went for a look and were instantly besotted. She’s confident, sociable, and cheerful, but well, we have to admit, she’s a blue-collar kinda gal. She likes watching hockey. She prefers Purina to high-end brands. And she’s a lap dancer. If there’s a warm lap to be had, she’s on it, squirming shamelessly. Don’t let the pose in front of the Margaret Atwood poster fool you.”
