REVEAL

Wild Word Friday!!

This week has been an exciting one for me as my eBook publisher, Open Road Integrated Media (visit them at www.openroadmedia.com),  has been REVEALing the cover art for my six Alaska books, one book each day, Monday through Saturday. The books will be available for purchase from all eBook retailers beginning May 28, 2013.

The Cover REVEAL made me start thinking about the word REVEAL, and so I’ve done a bit of sleuthing. The English word REVEAL comes to us from the Middle English reuelen, which is related to the Old French word reveler. Both those words spring from the Latin, revelare and all of them mean to draw back the veil.  In Latin, re- means back and velum is the word for veil.

And just in case you haven’t yet seen the cover art for my Alaska books, here are the four that have been REVEALed so far. One of the remaining two will come out later today (Friday, May 10, 2013) and the other on Saturday, May 11.
