Puppy Love/ Brittany!
For years our neighbors owned a Brittany. She was a beauty, friendly and sweet in temperament. This breed was originally developed in France and is considered a sporting dog, used to hunt birds, and they are also a wonderful family dog, good with kids and full of energy but gentle enough to be a house dog as well as a hunter. They have a lot of energy. Every Brittany I’ve ever known has had a secret wish to be a lap dog!

Do you have or have you ever owned a Brittany?

Thank you, Sharyll. I’ve loved seeing pictures of Skyler online!
We had two, one of each color, miss them. The dark one did not get very big and always tried to jump on my lap. Beautiful pictures Sue, also the reunion write up and pictures. We have Skyler now, a beautiful choc lab, very smart and loveable.
Such nice photos! Brittany Spaniels are lovely dogs. Our daughter has one… her husband’s choice of breed several years ago… and he has such a sweet temperament (the dog, that is… although her hubby is pretty sweet, too. 🙂 http://www.flickr.com/photos/sharigreen/2687574029/
