October 2014 Free Book!

Hooray! Time to give away another free book! This month that book is Julie Klassen’s novel, THE TUTOR’S DAUGHTER. If you are a fan of Downton Abbey, you will surely like this book!

The Tutor's Daughter

From the back cover: “Emma Smallwood, determined to help her widowed father, accompanies him to the cliff-top manor of a baronet and his four sons. But soon after they arrive and begin teaching the two younger boys, mysterious things begin to happen…..When suspicious acts escalate, can Emma figure out which brother to blame and which to trust with her heart?”

THE TUTOR’S DAUGHTER was published by Bethany House. Our free copy is a trade paperback edition.

To qualify for our Thursday, October 23 drawing, please answer this question. THE TUTOR’S DAUGHTER is set in Cornwall, England. Have you ever been to England? If so, where? If not, would you like to go?

Blessings!

  1. Every time we watch Pillars of the Earth, Jackie, we feel like we are visiting England. Although, I know it was a very different place that long ago!

Arlene, I have not read The Book of Hours! Thank you for giving me another to-read-book! Love those!!

  2. No, I have not been to England, and yes, it is on my bucket list. If I were to go, I’d have to see Big Ben, of course, and the Royal Guard, and all the other touristy sites. But I’d also want to walk through some of the smaller towns away from the cities and get a taste of normal, homey life there.

Have you ever read Davis Bunn’s book, “The Book of Hours,” Sue? If not, you need to! I’d like to live in a town like he describes. 🙂
