My favorite is my birth month flower – Lily of the Valley but Roses and Orchids are a close second!
Oh Holly, thank you!! And of course dandelions count!! They should be loved just like any other flower!
To answer your question about my books, no, I have not had any other books published beyond my trilogy and SISU, the Middle Reader / YA chapter book. However, I am working hard on a novel set in ancient Europe on the Danube 5800 B.C. This is an interesting time when the original human inhabitants of Europe are just beginning to meet/fight with/flee from the Indo-European speakers from the Eurasian plains (think Vikings, Celts). Lots of conflict and that makes for a very interesting setting for a novel. I’m interacting with folks over on my Facebook Author Page (Sue Harrison Author), for help with plot points and ideas. If you’re on FB, please join us!!
I know this doesn’t count, but my favorite flower is a dandelion. If I had to think of a socially (and scientifically) recognized flower, it would likely be hydrangeas, bleeding hearts or morning glorys.
It is so kind of you to host a giveaway! I was watching a video on YouTube about “auto-buy authors” (authors whose books you automatically buy when you see their name on the cover, regardless of synopsis) and I was thinking how you would be my auto-buy author, but I didn’t know if you has published any books since your two trilogies. I see now that you have written a standalone book for the younger age range, but do you have any more adult books? I would instantly buy it, if so!
I hope you are having a fantastic day. =)

my favorite flower: Lily. But I have to say I am a lover of all plants and flowers. I am slowly getting a green thumb. :). And they all bring me such joy in different ways. Even daffodils, black eyed susans, tulip, succulent cactus, foliage plants, flowering cactus, etc. There is beauty in all of them including the outdoor plants and bushes. Nature is such a wonderful thing…and can truly change ones perspective and way of being.
My favorite flowers are irises.
I like the daisy
My favorite flower…there are many, but I think I would say white peonies, with just a touch of red in the center. The smell fills the main level of my house. The downside of Peonies is that they only last for a very short time.
I like too many varieties of flowers..it is hard to choose one..perhaps the Begonia which are vibrant, delicate and long lasting!
My favorite flower is lavender, I love the color and it’s fragrance. Thanks so much for the offer Sue, that’s so sweet of you.
You are more than welcome, Wendy. Your wonderful books deserve to be lauded (and given away on blogs!!).
I’m doing well, Jackie. Definitely enjoying the warm weather of summer!! I wish I would have known your grandmother. Maybe she could have given me advice on how to keep my geraniums alive and healthy inside during the winters!!
My favorite flower? So hard to choose! For smell it is the Lilac, the joy of summer time it would be the Sunflower, to put on my kitchen table it would be Tulips or Gerber Daisies….. Like I said, too many to choose!
Hi Sue, how are you? , my favourite flower is the geranium, it simply reminds me of my grandmother who was a passionate gardener and loved her geraniums.
Love, Jackie
My favorite flower is the Sunflower
Sue,
Thanks so much for offering this! What an unexpected and delightful surprise.
You’ve been such a tremendous support & I’m grateful!

My favorite flower… So hard to choose. But my absolute favorite would be the old rambling rosebush that grew at the side of my grandmothers porch. It was red and grew in clusters of bloom. She called it the ” Seven Sisters ” rose.
