April 2018 Free Book!
I’m excited to give away a novel this month by Julie Klassen. Set in 1820 this inspirational romance will carry you via words and stories to the little town of Ivy Hill in Wiltshire, England. Our give-away copy is a new trade paperback.
From the cover copy: “The lifeblood of the village of Ivy Hill is its coaching inn, The Bell. When the innkeeper dies suddenly, his genteel wife, Jane Bell, becomes the reluctant landlady….With the help of friends old and new, can Jane restore life to the inn, and to her empty heart as well?”
Within her loss and through the difficulty of managing the inn, Jane discovers new strengths and talents. To have your name included in our Wednesday, April 11 drawing, tell us about your talents. Are you a people person or good with numbers? Are you mechanical or artistic or musical? Do you have a gift with animals or children? Let us know!
Happy Reading!

Lois A. Burrece, this has to be the rarest gift in the world! Wow! Thank you for sharing your comment with us. Wish I could have taken your class years ago!!
How wonderful to share your gifts with your grandchildren, Sherry Postula! I love Kate DiCamillo’s books SO MUCH!!
I love reading your comments. I was a number-cruncher when I worked. When I retired, I started sewing again. I set up a craft room for my grandchildren and we love working together. I love watching them use their imagination. I too have introduced them to Kate DiCamillo’s books. We love reading together.
My talent is I’m a self taught seal gut sewer, from Unangan Dolls to Medicine bags, that I give more away then I keep. After my Mom passed away, I felt the need to keep our Unangan Culture alive living in Washington State so my kids would know some of our Culture. Along with traditional foods when I have it. I taught seal gut in our Culture camp at home in Unalaska,Ak.
