These are two of my favorite movies. I’ve watched each at least ten times. I love the “teenage angst” and sweet love story of DAN IN REAL LIFE, and I also love the “good guy wins” theme of THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION. It doesn’t hurt one bit that the actors in each are fabulous!
