A Workshop You Don’t Want to Miss!!
If you’ve dreamed about writing a novel, don’t deprive the reading public of your story and your vision!
Nationally recognized literary writer and educator, Joe Haske, is making one of his rare trips to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and has graciously agreed to present a week-long workshop, “The Development of a Novel,” at the Hesse School House and Avery Arts & Nature Learning Center in Hessel, Michigan. This five-day workshop is scheduled for Monday through Friday, September 19-23, from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. (Wednesday is an on-your-own writing break.)
Subjects covered include plot lines, chapters versus stories, your vision, your system, frame & form, sense of place, and book proposals. Participants are welcome to bring manuscripts for a group reading (or not!). The $325 fee includes (wonderful!) lunches.
Here’s the catch. Pre-registration is required and the class is filling up! Don’t delay.
I’ve enjoyed sitting in on some of Joe’s workshops in the past, and I can attest that Joe’s engaging teaching style and his enthusiasm always encourages his students to believe in themselves and work hard on their projects!
Here’s a link for the workshop flyer. Don’t miss out!!
Happy Writing!
