  1. I love all these stories! I have been lost so many times, I can’t begin to list them all. I must have some kind of brain glitch. It has plagued me from childhood!! Sue

  2. Hadn’t been home to Lansing in many years and discovered my usual path to my uncle’s house was changed with “new” one way streets. Meandered until I found a familiar path.

  3. Yes. Every time I go to Anchorage. I got lost in the woods when I was 18. I was going to explore and have an overnighter. I had my backpack with grub, water and a warm fart sack so the only real fear I had for three nights was bears. The skeeters drove me NUTS!! The next time I climbed back in some deep woods I was more prepared.

  4. Hey Sue! YES, I got lost, but not in travel. I’ve had many times it took a while to find my destination, but I always have. So, when I was about 4, a mall opened in the big town next to us & they had an Easter Egg hunt in the parking lot. (Malls were a new thing back then!) Mama put a bright red sweater on me so she could pick me out of the crowd. It felt like there were zillions of kids & I lost sight of my Mom! She couldn’t pick me out b/c she said almost every Mom had the same idea! Red sweaters were everywhere! I quit looking for eggs & roamed around looking for her & eventually we met! I started bawling! Mama asked why I was crying AFTER I found her? I blubbered, “Cause if I cried before, I couldn’t see to find you!”

(A little extra, but not for the competition!) I lost MY 3 y/o in Heathrow in the 80’s! I had been VERY anti-child-leash!! I’d NEVER put a leash on my child! He wasn’t a dog! Etc, etc! You better believe! When I found him I found the first shop & bought a leash!!! 😁😅😂🤣

  5. We have gotten ‘turned around’ many timess in our travels! I am thankful that my husband has no problem stopping to ask for directions!!
