March 2025 Free Book!
Some weeks ago, I asked FaceBook friends to give me suggestions for a national bestselling book to feature in our monthly give away. A number of people suggested Kristin Hannah’s novel THE WOMEN. I bought it for my Kindle, read it, and decided I had to feature this book. It’s amazing!!

Many of the characters in THE WOMEN are nurses. To have your name in our Wednesday, March 19 drawing, just answer this question. “Are you or is/was someone in your family a nurse?”
We owe so much to the nurses in our lives. Our niece is a nurse and I have many friends who are nurses and CNAs, plus a granddaughter who is working as a CNA while she attends school to earn her physician assistant degree. Thank you all for your service for all of us!

I am a nurse practitioner. I worked as an RN for many years and then went on to be an NP. I have primarily been working in Tribal clinics for the past 18 years including rural Alaska which is how I became so interested in the Yupik people (Walrus hunters) and loved reading My Sister The Moon series.
