Jan. ’14 2nd Give-Away Book!

Celebrate with me the first novel written by my friend Wendy Paine Miller, THE DISAPPEARING KEY!

Our give-away copy is a new trade paperback. Here’s a blurb from the Amazon page: “The night of their daughter’s birth, Gabrielle and her husband Roy fused their genetic and engineering geniuses to bring back all that was lost to themβ€”at a cost. The secret must be kept.”

It’s a page turner for sure!

To qualify for the Wednesday, January 29 drawing just answer this question:

If you had the genetic engineering know-how to change something about yourself, what would it be? (I’d love to have big brown eyes that could see well!!)

Blessings,

Sue

  1. I probably would change to have better vision and larger eyes….mine are bit small and wear contacts and use reading glasses. Ha! I am a bit over weight, but I am happy with it..loosing a bit here and there though. πŸ™‚

  2. Thanks so much for posting this, Sue! I loved your thoughtful review!! Meant a lot coming from someone with as much skill as you.

I would tweak my vocal cords so I’d sing like a nightingale. πŸ˜‰

Looking forward to seeing who wins the book!

  3. Laughed out loud at that, Angela. What a fun response. My almost twelve-year-old already wears a women’s 8. I’ve apologized to her that I’m passing on my big feet. πŸ˜‰

  4. Hi Sue,
I would love to have thick, luxuriant, “Julia Roberts-to-die-for,” chestnut brown hair, instead of baby-fine, static-prone, dishwater blonde,”be grateful you’re not balding” hair.
Thanks for asking and for all you have done for the Pickford Community Library.

  5. Thank you for all you’ve done for our community with your work at the Library, Ann Marie! And I wish I had that thick hair, too. I can’t complain too much since I did for much of my life, but alas in my “older” age my hair grows thin and argues with the comb each day!
