Thief

Our mail today included more than bills and ad flyers.  I received an advanced reader copy (ARC) of Linda Windsor’s new novel, Thief, from her publisher David C. Cook.   They’ve asked me for an endorsement (a blurb)!

I can’t wait to read Thief! Linda writes my kind of books – history and intrigue.  Thief is set in King Arthur’s Scotland and has all the requisite characters – a stargazing princess, a capable dwarf, a scheming witch, an improbably beautiful eel fisher (hmmm), a lost daughter and a wounded warrior.  And the cover art is gorgeous, too!! 

Thief , which is the second book in The Brides of Alba trilogy, is slated for release on June 1, 2011.  The first novel in the series, Healer, was also a David C. Cook release.
