Trail Magic
Congratulations to our friends Greenstone and Thimbleberry who have passed the 500 mile mark on their Appalachian Trail walk! Congratulations to you both, and to Leanne and Steve who joined them this past week for a portion of that walk. That’s really friendship! (Neil and I love you guys, but don’t plan on seeing us until you get home…)
A few days ago Greenstone and Thimbleberry were surprised with the gift of a little “trail magic.” Trail magic is when someone meets you on the trail with a gift that will encourage you on your journey. This time it was trail mix and soft drinks.
I haven’t walked the Appalachian Trail, but I’ve had times in my life when the going was rough and someone gave me a little trail magic. How about you? Have you received or passed along a little trail magic lately? Hope so!
