A couple of years ago, my husband came home from a conference and asked me an usual question. What is my favorite color of roses? One of the inspirational speakers asked the guys there about their wives’ or moms’ or girlfriends’ preferences in this regard. The speaker was trying to illustrate that although we know a person well, there are often small things about them we tend to overlook.
I told my husband that my favorite color for roses is yellow. He was surprised. He was sure my favorite was red. But wasn’t it great that he asked?
So . . . what’s your favorite color of roses (even if you’re a guy)?
