Your Pet/ MITZIE!
This your pet is a little different since the cat today is also a rescue pet, but is still up for adoption if anyone would like her. She lives in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula in the Eastern end, and is being taken care of by Cheryl and Dan, who have rescued many cats.
Cheryl says, “Mitzie is another one of my strays, except that I found a home for her last November, but I guess she didn’t like it, because she came back. She traveled close to ten miles to get home.” Mitzie left her “new home” on Christmas Eve. She arrived back at Cheryl’s house on January 26 – a month to get there, but she made it.
Mitzie has a crippled foot, and Cheryl wonders if perhaps she broke it when she was a kitten, but despite her limp she’s an active, happy kitty. If anyone else would like to give Mitzie a home, she’s still up for adoption if anyone has a place and a heart for a beautiful cat!
Q4U: Have you ever rescued or adopted a stray?
Blessings!
