PUPPY LOVE! Shih Tzu
When my daughter was sixteen, we bought her a Shih Tzu puppy that she named Ickabod, Icky for short. He was black and white and about the cutest thing you ever saw. I thought you might like to put a smile into your day with a few puppy pictures of Shih Tzu puppies, a dog also known as the Chinese Lion Dog. Recent DNA analysis has proven that the Shih Tzu is one of the oldest dog breeds in the world.

My little brother had a pure white one name Tonka when I was about 15 years old. I loved it, pure white and really fluffy! My little brother Carver named it after his favorite toy (he was 4) his Tonka truck.
Oh Liz, what a cute story! Tonka. That’s a new doggie name to me! But it sure makes perfect sense for a 4-year-old boy!
My daughter Danielle has a black and white one named Holly.She got her from Mark for christmas when they were dating.Holly is 14 years old now.
Liberty is half Shih Ztu! And we can’t forget Stuffin! 😉 All of the Shih Ztu’s I’ve know are sweet tempered! I think I’d like a black/white one and name her Oreo!
I have a black and white Shih Ztu. My grandchildren named him Simon from the chipmunk’s cause he’s the good chipmunk and Simon is a good puppy!

I have a Shih Tzu named Izzy. She’s black and white also. Her sister is completely black. We love them to pieces! Gentle companions.
I agree, Barbara, that Shih Tzus are the best of companions!
