Puppy Love / Dachshund

Several of my friends, and also my parents, own dachshunds. I don’t know about you, but when I see a dachshund, I just smile. With a tummy so low to the ground you’d think that they would have a lot to complain about, but they are seldom grumpy. Dachshunds – both standards and minis – were originally bred to hunt animals that live in burrows. The American Kennel Club tells us that Dachshunds are the tenth most popular dog breed in the United States.
