April 2014 Free Book #1
Our first free book in April 2014, is a romantic suspense novel written for the inspirational market. ESCAPE TO BIG FORK LAKE will keep you guessing as the heroine stumbles upon a murder and becomes the only suspect.
From the back cover:
“Bad luck seems to follow Sam Blacker. She loses her job and faces daily struggles keeping her drunken neighbor away from her. When an unexpected inheritance gives her a chance for a new beginning…she [makes] a decision that will forever change her life [as] she flees to the small fishing town of Big Fork Lake, Alabama.”
Our give-away copy is a new trade paperback. To have your name entered in our Wednesday, April 9 drawing, just answer this question:
If you were in a long-term frightening situation, are you more likely to
(a) take off on your own and find a new place to live.
(b) get help from friends.
(c) hide.
Blessings!
Sue
I love that you think of your friends’ safety, Diane!
Jackie and Ang, I think you are very brave! Jody, that’s what I would do, too! (After first hiding – in a closet probably! 🙂 )
I would fix it or fight it. Depends on the problem… but hiding probably wouldn’t be a option. I think friends or family could be in danger if they were involved. If fixing or fighting isn’t working then I would find another place to live.
I’d probably go off on my own; knowing I might not be able to keep my friends safe, and people would find out who they were, thus come looking for me. A.
I think it depends on a few factors i.e. your age and ability to get help, financial situation etc.
I choose A. …….. I have actually done that 🙂
At the time I could not choose B or C so A was my only option
B) get help from friends
