May 2016 Free Book!!

My friend Penina Keen Spinka has recently released her newest Prehistoric — HIDDEN IN MIST, so, of course, I couldn’t resist offering it as our Free Book this month!!

Told like a series of stories in a very authentic voice, Spinka carries us into the lives of Hiawatha and the people of the Five Tribes Confederacy. Spinka’s research makes the story come alive, and the romance and heartache of Hiawatha’s niece Jekonsaseh will keep you turning pages!

Portions of HIDDEN IN MIST are set near (and behind!) Niagara Falls. To have your name included in our Wednesday, May 25 drawing, tell us if you have ever visited Niagara Falls (New York, USA and/or Ontario, Canada)!

Happy Reading!

Sue

I have always loved stories around prehistoric history or even musings of all our ancestors an After reading Sue Harrisons series of The Inuit ,and Jean Auel Clan of the Cave bear series my hands itch when I hear of more..unfortunately being far from any book store limits things…electronics are great as well

  9. I have not been to Niagara Falls, it sure looks awesome, all that power in water! I live 6 miles from the Canadian border. I live on Lake of the Woods, the northern tip of Minnesota. It is pretty in the summer and fall time. Love the smell of rain when it does rain.

  10. No I have not been there but I have been by the area while passing through. I am very interested in anything at on on the native peoples from this area as well as anything from the areas around Vermont and any tribes between the St Lawrence and U.S. I have some where along the way Native American ancestors. I guess thats why I have always loved your books as well as authors like the Gears and Auel. they give me a glimpse of what my ancestors might have been like.

  11. Yes, numerous times, but not since we’ve had our son, who is 18. When he recently got his driver’s license (finally!) we got him the Michigan enhanced license specifically so that we could take him to Niagra Falls. Now we just need to plan a trip!

  12. No I have not, but that funny think is we are looking to possibly go to Niagara Falls as a family vacation this year!
