Your Life & Mine: Family!
A week ago my siblings and I had a dinner together with our dad and our spouses. We hadn’t all been together since Mom’s funeral, and we had a joyous time!
Here’s our group, starting at the left and circling around the table. My brother John, his son Jonathan, my empty chair (I’m taking the photo.), my husband Neil, my brother Bob, our Dad (Smile Dad!), my brother Roger’s wife Annette, Roger, my sister’s husband Tom, my sister Tish, and my brother John’s fiance Jody. (We were celebrating Jody’s birthday.) The only one missing from the photo is brother Bob’s fiance Donna.
Next month Neil and I will be attending my dad’s family’s reunion, and I’m looking forward to connecting with cousins I haven’t seen for years. In August, our high school class will be celebrating our 50th reunion. We grew up together in this “Pickford Class of 68,” and we all feel like family.
