Not on purpose! There’s a hill in John Ball Park, Grand Rapids that gets really slick from use. We were at the top watching kids and I started to slide…screamed all the way down!

Skiing, like any sport requiring some degree of coordination, was a monumental failure for me. Why did I even try you ask, knowing full well I’d be a disaster? Easy. The man I was seeing loved to ski, so I needed to show at least a spark of interest. And so I went….. and it was horrible, for me AND the gorgeous man I was with…… I managed to keep him laughing, which saved the trip. We’ve tried many sports through our 28 years of marriage, and he’s finally realized that I’ll never be good at any of them. But i’m damned funny to watch!
