Small Joys — Photos of our Veterans
Honoring out veterans is a HUGE joy, especially on Veterans’ Day but I find joy throughout the year every time I see photos of family members and friends who have served our country in the armed services. Both my father and my husband’s served in World War II. This is a photo of them both with their great granddaughters.
Neil’s dad (left) was a WWII vet and served on the front lines as a machine gunner in France and Germany. My dad is also a WWII vet and served in the navy on a battleship and then on Eniwetok Atoll in the South Pacific. We are grateful to both of them for their service.
