February 2024 FREE BOOK

In 2023, my husband Neil and I met novelist, Kevin Kuhens, at a book signing event in Port Charlotte, Florida. As we often do at such events, we purchased his novel TERROR’S SWORD, A KYLE McEWAN NOVEL. It is Kevin’s first book, so I was not expecting it to be of world-class quality. Count me as wrong! Neil loved it as much as I did. It is one amazing book, and I recently bought a new trade paperback edition to give away on my blog. Meanwhile, this self-published novel as won two national awards, including the prestigious Military Writers Society of America’s Gold Medal.

If you enjoy novels by Tom Clancy, Vince Flynn, and David Baldacci, you will love TERROR’S SWORD. Kuhens is a retired special agent for the US Department of Defense, which makes him uniquely qualified to write this novel. One note, most of the novel was written, before Covid ever rared its ugly head. From Midwest Book Review, “A powerful saga that blends high-octane action, psychological interplays, and acts of political desperation that probe presidential actions, traps, moves . . . and special ops processes.”

From the back cover copy, “Two deadly weapons hurtle toward each other: a committed terrorist intent on delivering a genetically altered bioagent and elite counterterrorism case officer Kyle McEwan. Should McEwan fail, untold millions across the globe will die.”

To have your name included in our Wednesday, February 21 drawing, just answer this question. Most main characters in action novels have amazing skill sets, including expertise in extreme sports. Have you ever participated in extreme sports? (For example, diving, skiiing, scuba, football, rugby, hockey, climbing, marathons, motocross, car racing, equestrian competitions….)

Happy Reading!
