July 2013 Free Book #1!
Our July 2013 Free Book is THE MEMORY JAR by Tricia Goyer. It is the first book in the Seven Brides for Seven Bachelor’s series. A delightful romance for anyone who loves all things Amish, THE MEMORY JAR is the story about dreams, hopes, and the strength of family ties. Our give-away copy is a new trade paperback.
From the back cover, “Sarah Shelter has lived in West Kootenai, Montana, for the last ten years and wonders if she will ever fall in love. Since the tragic death of her best friend, she saves her memories in a jar along with the small items connected to them. For just as long, she’s also been carrying around her emotions instead of allowing them to penetrate deep into her heart. Until she meets Jathan Schrock…”

Do you have a special way to “save” your memories – scrapbooking, photographs, mementos?
Blessings!
Sue
Nancy, as you know, stories are my favorite way to preserve our history, and the traditions of Alaska’s people – all races – have made that tradition an artform. You’re incredible!
Oh Jane, That’s so great. Your great-great-great grandchildren will definitely rise up and call you blessed! You’re such a good mom and daughter!
Oh my goodness, 6! I wouldn’t even be able to get the meals on the table, Tonya, let alone tend to photos. You’re my hero!! (And digital is very wise!)
I did scrapbooks when my older kids were younger, but now that we have six children I depend on digital photos for my memories. I try to tag the pictures or even add a note to them before I save them on an external hard drive.
I am working on a scrapbook right now that includes old photographs and documents (birth, marriage, and death certificates) of our distant relatives. I am also including pictures of the headstones and the location of the cemeteries where they are buried. There are so many black and white photos that need to be explained since our parents didn’t label them. Quite an ongoing project!
I do as such… they are Stories I tell over and over to my Loved ones, they tell there’s in return.
yes we take oodles of Photos too.
