We have friends coming north to visit for the weekend. The guys are going to participate in the Walleye Jamboree. So at “Day Break” they’ll be out on the ice, fishing, but we girls will take a “Day Break” a little later on, to shop and go out for lunch. Then we’ll come home, build a fire in the fireplace, talk, drink hot cocoa and maybe watch a good movie.

rise early full off anticipatition because family from abroad is coming over for a few days, cook all day, sit down and enjoy gorgous food with a few generations at the table, chat, laugh have interesting conversations, see the love amongst family, end the day with an Irish hot whiskey (whiskey, sugar, hot water and lemon), sleep with a smile on the face.
That is my favourite kind of day.
