Beginning next Tuesday (November 1, 2011) and continuing for most Tuesdays – at least until next summer (when life becomes nearly too hectic for me to breathe let alone blog), I will begin to write a very short blog about the books that I love. These aren’t the average everyday books I love, as in “Oh,…

Your Life and Mine: Music!
I grew up in a home where classical music was highly beloved. My mother’s brother, Wilson Sawyer, was an orchestra conductor and a composer. My mom, a classically trained pianist, became a pro at the young age of 13, when she auditioned for and was chosen to be the pianist for a touring swing and…

That means it’s also the perfect time of year for comfort food, and for me comfort food includes winter SQUASH….

Hi Ans, Thank you for dropping in on my blog! If you look at a map of North America, right in the middle you’ll see a piece of land surrounded by large fresh water lakes. This land is shaped like a mitten. We live on the peninsula just above that mitten-shaped land. Our house is on a small lake that is hooked to the largest of those “Great Lakes,” Lake Superior. Our lake is called Munoscong.
I have a great interest to visit the northern countries especially alaska and canada are my favorite. Beautiful countryside and a lot of wildlife to see. And not the least amazing people to meet. Thank you for sharing your photo with me. At wich coast do you live??
