Sept. ’13 FREE BOOK #1

Our first free book this month is from the gifted novelist, Tessa Afshar, who was voted “New Author of the Year” by Family Fiction in 2011. She was born in Iran and lived there the first 14 years of her life. Her conversion to Christianity in her twenties changed her life forever.

Our give-away book, Tessa’s novel HARVEST OF GOLD, is a wonderful read, set in the Middle East in 446 B.C.

Harvest of Gold

From the back of the book: “…Sarah married Darius, and at times she feels as if she has married the Persian aristocracy, too. But there is another point she did not expect in her marriage – Sarah has grown to love her husband. She has wealth, property, honor, and power, yet securing her husband’s love seems unattainable…”

Our free book is a new trade paperback edition. To qualify for our Wednesday, September 11 drawing just answer this question:

As a member of the aristocracy, Sarah lives a very pampered life. What’s your favorite way of being pampered? (For me? Massage!)

Blessings!

  1. I love these books Sue Harrison is giving to us, or pushing or whatever! She rocks !

And my best way to be pampered to curl up on a comfortable couch and read to my heart’s content ! Reading is a way to lose your self to adventure, romance, thrillers!!

  2. Pampered… I’m just starting to realize that I can’t think of an instant when I’ve given myself time to be pampered. I’ll really have to try a massage one day…

But, as of right now, I always feel pampered when I can afford to buy myself a new book or when someone gives me a book as a gift. Nothing is better than that!

And I must say, Tessa Afshar is definitely one of my favorite authors!

  3. Oh, I have heard good things about this book and would love to win! My fave way of getting pampered…Hm. I don’t get pampered a lot–for me, pampering would look like a chance to swim laps in an indoor pool, all by myself. And some chocolate, coffee, and a good book.
